Thermal Transfer Labels

Thermal Transfer printing requires the use of a carbon ribbon and transfers the image and text onto the label material when heat is applied.

One advantage of Thermal Transfer printing is that the information printed is more durable and crisp, and more suitable for small or high density barcode printing.

Another advantage is that Thermal Transfer Labels last longer than Direct Thermal labels, and when a Sythentic material is used it will last even longer and also be more moisture resistant and not tear easily.

Common uses of Thermal Transfer Labels for a more permanent and long term use is: Inventory and Shelf labels, Product identification labels,  Permanent identification, Asset tracking, Sample and file tracking, Laboratory specimen labeling, Cold and Freezer labeling, Outdoor application (Synthetic).
