Thermal Print Heads

Thermal print head s are a component in a thermal label printer that is responsible for creating images on the label media and consists of a series of small, heated elements that are arranged in a line, and when heated, causes a small dot of heat-sensitive ink to melt and adhere to the label media. 

Thermal print heads are available in mainly 203dpi, 300dpi and 600dpi resolutions, which is measured in dots per inch (dpi) - The higher the resolution, the sharper the image will be.
